Wednesday Morning:
"Super Pour" of 1,000 Yards of Concrete,
To Build North Beach Asbury Park
WHEN: Wednesday, June 29, 2005, 7 a.m. -11 a.m.
WHERE:
North Beach Asbury Park, 1601 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ.
WHAT:
Tomorrow morning, a convoy of trucks will be coming to Asbury Park to make the
first "super pour" of concrete, laying the foundation to build North Beach, the
first condominium community in City By The Sea's waterfront revitalization.
All morning, Clayton Concrete's trucks will proceed east on Asbury Avenue, turn left onto Main Street, turn right onto Deal Drive, then right onto Kingsley Street, directly onto the North Beach site to lay down 100 truckloads of concrete that would stretch out for 1,000 yards.
WHO: Lara Schwager, Paramount Homes' director of development, will be available for comment from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
WHY:
Since sales began on June 1, Paramount Homes' North Beach Asbury Park has been
a stunning success. All 48 of the first available homes on the waterfront have
been sold. The next step you can witness is the first of 8 concrete "super pours" -
the visual that makes Asbury Park's revitalization a reality.
